CURRENT PROJECT (UPDATED May 08, 2016)

So I decided to scrap my last project. The reason is because I wasn't completely satisfied with my raycasting engine. Perspective wasn't perfect, ran a bit slow and just didn't look as good as I was hoping. So I decided to improve on it. Took a while but I think it was worth it. It still isn't perfect but looks much better & runs really fast! Oh and I still plan on doing a 2 player split-screen deathmatch. The game now has an egyptian setting and you will be competing against bots to collect all the treasure.

Game is coming along nicely! Recently added some kind of lava worm enemy while you cross the lava lake. Here's some screenshots:

So I've been working on my own raycasting engine and so far it's coming along nicely! the game is a first person shooter with RPG elements.

The story takes place in the future. You are a crew of 3 astronauts sent into space to test the first deflector shield. There is a malfunction and you fly right into the sun. The shields protect you but you crash land on an alien world in a parallel dimension.

As the soldier of the group you will have to find ways to survive and also fight off any hostile lifeforms you may encounter!

I'd say the game is about %40 complete. It will also feature a 2 player split-screen deathmatch so keep an eye out for that!
